Pastor Prema Pelletier

I was gloriously saved in February of 1984. For nearly a year, I was out of fellowship with the Lord. Because of an unfortunate incident, I became very upset with Christians. I thought, “If this is Christianity, I don't want any part of it.” I did not realize that Christians are people who are saved by God's grace. I automatically thought every Christian was perfect. I had a rude awakening to my foolish thinking, for which I now thank the Lord. God used that incident to show me that I have to learn to keep my eyes on the Lord Jesus and not on people. People will fail, but Jesus never fails!

After getting back to church through a string of circumstances, I started to grow in my faith. I learned to love my Master with all my heart, my soul, my mind, my strength, my whole being! I also learned to love the Word of God, the Bible. Two and a half months after coming back to the Lord, He baptized me with His Holy Ghost and Fire!

For the next two and a half years, I served in the church where I attended, all the while praying that the Lord would put me into full-time Ministry. At that point, I was a working, single parent, raising a young child alone and quite involved in the church. God heard my prayers and on March 13, 1988, the Lord opened the door to full-time Ministry for me with the church I was attending at that time. To God be all the glory!

In 1992, after returning from a missionary trip to Holland, I received my call to preach the Word of God. I was on my knees in prayer when this happened. The Lord has been very faithful to me. In Him I find no fault at all!!!

In 1995, I was assessed with a Bachelor of Theology degree when I was ordained to the Gospel Ministry by Dr. Harold Vick, President of the Jacksonville Theological Seminary, Jacksonville, Florida, USA. In 1996, I graduated as a Certified Pastoral Counsellor from The Evangelical Order of Certified Pastoral Counsellors of America.

At present, my husband and I are ordained ministers with the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies of Canada.

As I said in my testimony, if the Lord can use me, He can use you too. Trust Him to do so. I am so very grateful for all of God's blessings on my life. Praise Him.

While growing up, my dream was to one day be a lawyer and put away all the bad guys!  I could not have known that God would call me someday to present His Gospel – His Good News – to a lost and dying world.

As a matter of fact, in my early years of Christianity, I was taught that it is not Scriptural for women to preach.  Well, I am sorry to say that I myself believed that until GOD CALLED ME!

The Lord uses ANYONE He pleases.  Galatians 3:28 says that we are all one in Christ – no male or female in the Holy Spirit.  Micah 6:4 says, “For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.”

I thank God for the full support given to me by my husband.  He is the beloved and respected head of our home, under Christ.  He encourages me to fulfill my God-given Call.  He is not threatened by my role in the Ministry.  Rather, I would not be where I am today if it were not for my dear husband's love, prayers, care, encouragement and support.

I am also blessed to have the full support of Sanjay, my natural son, and Jason and Khang, our two unofficially adopted sons.

I am a blessed woman and I humbly and gratefully acknowledge the same.  All glory, praise, honour and credit belong to our lovely Lord Jesus.
